Denver Demographics – a Touchy Subject

Did you know that there are some topics a real estate agent can’t discuss? Topics such as crime rates, school ratings and general demographics are not subjects up for discussion due to federal Fair Housing laws.

However, just because I can’t legally answer such questions doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ask them, or that the answers aren’t available! You should and they are!

One of my favorite ways to use the blog is one used by Jim Warner. With his trusty camera in hand he offers to take a photo, write a short article, and place interesing folks on his blog. It is a great way to get to know people.
Don’t forget, its a great way to add to your contacts and database.
Well, that can work both ways. Las Vegas blogger Mark Clawson made ABC News today, Charles Gibson no less.
It all started with a photo ABC news found on Marks blog. Totally jealous I am. Nationwide fame.

He had already told a large Keller Williams Assembly that he had made ovder $100,000 from buyers that found him and chose him because of his blog. Yesterday he added a local business to the network of undressed blogs and in the process told me has 4 buyers he just began to work with (2 in purchase agreement status and 2 looking) from his blog. They are from San Fransico, Nebraska, Texas, and Florida.

Kenmore Undressed – Born April 26, 2008

KenmoreUndressed.com started out as a way for me to market my real estate business. I had been a Realtor® and an Associate Broker for seven years and I felt as if traditional print media and websites no longer had the impact they once enjoyed. Then, as the economy deteriorated, it became obvious that the real estate industry was going through an immense sea change and that to remain relevant and sustainable, I had to find a new way to reach out to the public. Coincidentally, one of my colleagues introduced me to the Undressed Network of Community Blogs. He told me that I should try my hand at “blogging” about real estate using my town, Kenmore, WA as a springboard. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time, so I jumped into it…………………………..

From Childrens Charities Undressed: The research doctor that I blogged about at Children’s Hospital shared it w/ the main PR person at Children’s and she just called me about doing a segment on King 5!  It will be done sometime next week, but I’ll be promoting my blog, along w/ discussing the flu.

From Issaquah Highlands Undressed:  Living here and owning Plateau Real Estate in the Issaquah Highlands has been a dream come true for me!  Daily, I’m reminded how fortunate I’m to be a representative of this wonderful Community to the future and current homeowners that look here for the many benefits that we all have here and enjoy on a daily basis!  Months ago, I was approached by the Public Relations firm representing Port Blakely about the possibility of doing a segment on “House Hunters”, HGTV’s #1 rated show.  Naturally, I was excited and thrilled to be considered!   This was an opportunity for me to showcase the Green Community of the Issaquah Highlands along with the opportunity to be part of a National Syndicated Television Show “House Hunters“ !
